HOPE, HOPE, HOUSTON!
Hippity hoppity Houston we have a problem! Over 40% of amphibian species are at risk of extinction. Hope, Hope, Houston is an science outreach installation (papier-mache sculpture; zines; infographic banners) I designed to raise awareness about the amphibian crisis. The sculpture is modeled after the sky-blue poison frog (Hyloxalus azureiventris), an endangered frog species native to Peru. This project was funded by the Skype-A-Scientist ScienceIRL Science Communication Grant!

Exhibiting my installation at the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art Smither Park 10th year anniversary event, joined by labmates and friends. Photo credits: Galina Aglyamova.
